Special Days in October

October is a popular month for special days and raising awareness.  Probably the best known is Breast Cancer when the whole month is devoted to promotion of this disease, from research to care and beyond.

But there are a host of other awareness raising days in October too.

Here are some of them:

4th – 10th  World Space Week
9th National Poetry day
10th 10.10 day
10th Seed Gathering Sunday
19 – 25th Energy Saving Week
31st end of British Summer Time and Halloween

Some of these may seem obscure but some boundary breaking thoughts might get you noticed in your local media.
