Carnivorous plant found in Brazil
Scientists at the State University of Campinas in Sao Paulo, Brazil have found a plant that uses buried leaves to catch and ‘eat’ worms. The plant is Philcoxia minensis and is the first discovered that traps its prey below the soil using its sticky leaves.
