Improving regulations – have your say

When faced with all that red tape for the latest – or even older – regulations, you can make suggestions for a simpler way to adhere to them according to Business Link.  I suspect not many of us knew that.

Yes, businesses can have a direct influence on how regulations affect them just by taking the time to submit an alternative proposal to the Better Regulation Executive (BRE).

In the examples listed on their site – from changing your address on a driving licence to impractical health and safety regulations – this executive body shows the proposal, the response and whether or not the suggestion is ‘taken forward’ for implementation.

If you’ve got a grouch and time to tell the BRE, then this information will be music for your ears.
