Training: Health and Safety Christmas Special

Make sure Christmas is exciting, inspiring and runs smoothly by completing our Health & Safety Christmas Special at Covent Garden Flower Market in conjunction with their pre-Christmas Event.

The training on 20 October will be dedicated to ensuring you are aware of all precautions and procedures you need to undertake by law when completing Christmas installations, as well as adding a bit of sparkle for the coming installations.

The course will cover
     • Handling and securing large trees in and outside buildings
     • Lighting safety
     • Risk assessment

    • The course will consider the regulations, employer/employee obligation, effects & consequences of bad lifting techniques, causes and
      remedies of upper limb disorders and introduction to good lifting practices and risk assessment.

    • The practical session will be completely tailored to our industry and the manual handling risk of moving large trees, planters, bags of compost
       etc.

The course is aimed at all employees to give them an insight into their responsibility to themselves and others whilst completing Christmas installations.
